VR2 - Replacement of Joystick

1. Disassemble the VR2 JSM, as described in [ Disassembly of the VR2 JSM ]
    
2. Remove the Joystick as described in [ Replacement of Joystick Gaiter ]
    
3. Fit the replacement Joystick, ensuring the notch on the Joystick is correctly positioned.
    
4. Calibrate the Joystick with the following steps.
   1. ​With the Joystick Cable disconnected, switch on the VR2. This will enter a Calibration Mode, which will be indicated by the left-hand speed LED flashing as below.
      
       
   2. Connect the Joystick Cable and carefully hold the two halves of the JSM together as if re-assembling.
       
   3. Depress the Horn Button until there is a bleep, then release. The left-hand two speed LEDs will now flash as below.
      
       
   4. Deflect and hold the Joystick in the full-forwards position and then depress the Horn Button until there is a bleep, then release. The left-hand three speed LEDs will now flash as below.
      
       
   5. Deflect and hold the Joystick in the full-left position and then depress the Horn Button until there is a bleep, then release. The left-hand four speed LEDs will now flash as below.
      
       
   6. Deflect and hold the Joystick in the full-right position and then depress the Horn Button until there is a bleep, then release. All five speed LEDs will now flash as below.
      
       
   7. Deflect and hold the Joystick in the full-reverse position and then depress the Horn Button until there is a bleep, then release. All the speed LEDs will extinguish, but all ten battery gauge LEDs will flash as below to indicate the calibration sequence is complete.
      
       
5. ​Switch off the VR2.
